Instructions
TEACHING SET MOVES: 'Step right, step left, clap, turn!' Build a simple routine move by move. Practise each section before adding the next.
LETTING CHILDREN CHOREOGRAPH: 'What move should come next? Show me your move! Let's all try it!' Children creating their own dance develops ownership.
USING VARIED MUSIC: Different music inspires different movements — gentle swaying for classical, sharp moves for pop, flowing for jazz.
PERFORMING FOR AN AUDIENCE: When confident, perform for another class or parents. Performance motivates polishing and practising.
