Instructions
TEACHING TAG PULLING: 'To stop someone, pull their tag off their belt! Don't push or tackle — just grab the tag!'
INTRODUCING PASSING: 'Pass the ball backwards to your teammate!' Backward passing is the unique rugby skill. Practise in lines first.
EVASION SKILLS: 'Dodge! Swerve! Change direction to keep your tags!' Evasion develops agility and spatial awareness.
SIMPLIFIED GAME: 'Score by running over the try line with the ball! If your tag is pulled, pass the ball!' Keep rules minimal.
