Instructions
DESIGNING THE COURSE: Include at least 10 varied challenges: rope bridge, tyre swing, tunnel crawl, log balance, climbing wall traverse, cargo net, zip wire (low), stepping logs, rope swing, mud crawl.
MANAGING FEAR AND RISK: Some elements will be scary. 'You don't have to do every part. But I challenge you to try one thing that feels a bit scary today!'
ENCOURAGING TEAMWORK: 'Help your friend across the rope bridge! Hold the rope steady while they cross!' Adventure courses develop cooperation.
BUILDING RESILIENCE: 'You fell off the log — that's okay! Get back on and try again!' Physical resilience transfers to emotional resilience.
