- Sacks or large bags
- Ties for three-legged race

Instructions
EXPLAINING EACH RACE: Demonstrate each race type clearly. Let children practise before racing competitively.
FOCUSING ON FUN: Emphasise participation and enjoyment over winning. 'Everyone who tries is a winner!' Sticker for every participant.
DEVELOPING SKILLS: Each race develops different skills — balancing (egg and spoon), jumping (sack race), cooperation (three-legged).
MANAGING COMPETITION: Some children struggle with losing. Prepare them: 'Sometimes we win, sometimes we don't — and that's okay. The fun is in the trying!'
