Instructions
ASSESSING READINESS: Not all children are ready for climbing walls. Let them choose to try — never force. Some will watch for weeks before attempting.
TEACHING HAND PLACEMENT: 'Reach for the next hold with your hand. Now move your foot up. Always hold on with both hands!' Three-point contact rule.
SPOTTING SAFELY: Stand behind and below the climber. Ready to support but not holding. Your calm presence gives confidence.
CELEBRATING BRAVERY: Even getting one foot off the ground is brave for some children. 'You climbed so high! You were really brave!'
