Instructions
DESIGNING VARIED CHALLENGES: Include at least 6-8 different movements: climb over, crawl under, jump between, balance along, throw into, step through.
LETTING CHILDREN HELP DESIGN: 'What should we add next? Where should the tunnel go?' Involvement increases engagement and develops planning.
TIMING OPTIONAL: Some children love beating their time: 'Let's see how fast you can go!' Others prefer to take it carefully. Both approaches are valid.
INCREASING COMPLEXITY: Add elements over time. Carry a beanbag on your head. Balance a ball on a spoon. Add a backwards section.
