Instructions
STARTING MULTI-SENSORY: Writing in sand and foam allows children to feel the letter movement without the difficulty of pencil control. 'Trace the letter with your finger!'
TEACHING CORRECT FORMATION: Use consistent language: 'Start at the top, straight line down.' Incorrect formation habits are hard to break later.
USING LETTER CARDS: Large laminated letter cards show starting points and direction arrows. Children trace over them with dry-wipe pens.
PROGRESSING TO PENCIL: When confident in sand and foam, move to paper. Dotted letters to trace, then independent formation. Always supervise grip.
