Instructions
TEACHING GRIP: 'Hold the edge with both hands — grip tight!' Overhand grip for shaking, underhand for lifting.
GIVING CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS: 'When I say UP — lift it high! When I say DOWN — pull it to the ground!' Rhythmic commands coordinate the group.
VARYING ACTIVITIES: Shake balls off, mushroom the parachute up and sit underneath, roll balls around the edge, wave it gently like the sea.
DEVELOPING TEAMWORK: 'We all have to work together! If one person lets go, the parachute won't work!' Physical cooperation teaches social skills.
