1. Discuss what a circus is and what children might see there.

2. Show pictures of animals, clowns, and performers.

3. Let students draw their favourite part of the circus.

Encourage students to talk about their drawings and share with the group.

Assessment

Observe and note: sustained engagement, sensory responses, early vocalisations, and attachment behaviours. Document using the Characteristics of Effective Learning framework (Playing and Exploring). Evaluate expression of ideas and effort in drawings.
