Bouncing Balloons
Balloon play supports scientific observation and motor development.

Objectives
- Students will explore how balloons move using different body parts.
Materials
- Inflated balloons
- Space to move
Instructions
1. Let each student try bouncing a balloon with different body parts (elbow, knee, foot).
2. Discuss what makes the balloon go up or down.
3. Encourage counting the number of bounces.

Ask, 'What happens when you use more force? Less force?'

Observe and note: sustained engagement, sensory responses, early vocalisations, and attachment behaviours. Document using the Characteristics of Effective Learning framework (Playing and Exploring). Evaluate use of vocabulary and coordination.
