Instructions
1. Say a circus word (tent, clown, ring).
2. Students push counters for each sound.
3. Blend sounds back together.
4. Write the word.

Start with 3-sound words and progress to 4-5 sounds.

Assess against Early Learning Goals (ELGs). Document evidence of 'expected' or 'exceeding' descriptors. Note: independent application of skills, ability to explain reasoning, and capacity to build on prior learning. Evaluate segmenting and blending accuracy.
