Instructions
1. Show patterns with two attributes (colour and shape).
2. Students identify and extend patterns.
3. Create necklaces with bead patterns.
4. Challenge peers to identify patterns.

Introduce AABB and ABC patterns.

Assess against Early Learning Goals (ELGs). Document evidence of 'expected' or 'exceeding' descriptors. Note: independent application of skills, ability to explain reasoning, and capacity to build on prior learning. Check pattern recognition and creation with complexity.
