- Cards and containers to clip onto
- Washing line at child height

Instructions
DEMONSTRATING THE SQUEEZE: 'Use your thumb and pointer finger — squeeze the peg open! Clip it on! Release!' The squeeze action strengthens tripod muscles.
MAKING IT PURPOSEFUL: 'Peg the washing on the line!' 'Clip the numbers in order!' 'Match the colour pegs to the colour cards!'
GRADING PEGS: Provide pegs of different strengths. Start with easy-squeeze pegs, progress to standard ones. This gradually builds strength.
OBSERVING GRIP DEVELOPMENT: Watch whether children use thumb and index finger (ideal) or thumb and middle finger. Both are acceptable but index finger use is the goal.
