Instructions
CHOOSING VARIED MUSIC: Play fast and slow music, loud and quiet. Babies respond to rhythm naturally — watch for bouncing, swaying, and head bobbing.
MOVING TOGETHER: Hold babies and dance with them. Bounce on your knee to the beat. Sway side to side. Your movement teaches them about rhythm.
ADDING PROPS: Give toddlers scarves to wave, bells to shake, ribbons to swirl. Props extend the range of movements and add visual interest.
FOLLOWING THEIR LEAD: Let children move however they want. Some will bounce, some will spin, some will just watch. All responses are valid.
