2. Ask children to look for trees, flowers, or signs.
3. Record findings by drawing or collecting leaves.

Discuss the people who keep public areas clean or planted.
Assessment
Observe and note: ability to follow two-step instructions, use of new vocabulary in context, early problem-solving strategies, and sustained shared thinking episodes. Assess against Development Matters age-band expectations. Monitor observational detail and vocabulary.
