Instructions

Start with fewer pieces and gradually increase difficulty.

Assessment

Observe and note: sustained engagement, sensory responses, early vocalisations, and attachment behaviours. Document using the Characteristics of Effective Learning framework (Playing and Exploring). Observe persistence and problem-solving strategies.
