Instructions

1. Listen to circus music and explore movements.

2. Create dance moves that tell a circus story.

3. Practise and refine the dance.

4. Perform for an audience.

Give students ownership over their choreography.

Assessment

Assess against Early Learning Goals (ELGs). Document evidence of 'expected' or 'exceeding' descriptors. Note: independent application of skills, ability to explain reasoning, and capacity to build on prior learning. Evaluate creativity, expression, and execution.
