Instructions

Use cloud-decorated muffin liners and airplane counters to compare quantities.

Educator tip

Use snack time as an opportunity to reinforce comparison vocabulary with real food items.

Assessment

Observe and note: ability to follow two-step instructions, use of new vocabulary in context, early problem-solving strategies, and sustained shared thinking episodes. Assess against Development Matters age-band expectations. Observe accurate use of comparison vocabulary and understanding of quantity relationships.
