How to plan a theme week
Pick one theme and a clear question children can explore all week. Mix learning areas across the days so language, maths, science, art and movement all appear. Start with an activity that sparks curiosity, build skills in the middle of the week, and finish with something children can share or display. Keep notes on what children say and do so the next week can build on it.
Sample theme weeks
Each example uses the first ten activities of a real unit, two per day. Swap any activity for another from the same unit.
