Instructions
STARTING STATIONARY: Place the ball still on the ground. 'Can you kick it to me?' Standing on one leg to kick is a big balance challenge at this age.
MODELLING THE KICK: Show how to swing the leg: 'Look at the ball, swing your foot, and kick!' Keep demonstrations simple and fun.
ADDING TARGETS: Set up a goal with cones: 'Can you kick it between the cones? GOAL!' Celebrating success motivates repetition.
ROLLING TO THEM: Once confident with stationary balls, gently roll a ball towards them: 'Here it comes — kick it back!'
