Instructions
INTRODUCING POWERS: 'Superheroes have special powers! Your superhero powers are: BREATHING POWER (deep breaths), COUNTING POWER (count to five), and SQUEEZE POWER (squeeze your hands tight then let go).'
PRACTISING POWERS: 'Let's practise our powers! Put your cape on! Ready? BREATHING POWER—in through your nose, out through your mouth. You did it! You used your power!'
CUEING POWERS: During challenging moments: 'This is a job for your superhero powers! Which power will you use? Breathing power? Counting power? You choose—you're the superhero!'
CELEBRATING POWER USE: 'You used your counting power when you felt angry! That was SO brave! Real superheroes use their calming powers. I'm proud of you!'
