GATHERING INGREDIENTS: 'A cup of kindness! A spoonful of sharing! A big dollop of listening! What else? Two tablespoons of playing together!' Write each 'ingredient' on the recipe card.
DISCUSSING EACH QUALITY: 'Why do we need kindness in our friendship recipe? What does kindness look like? Can you show me? YES—that's what kindness looks like!'
DISPLAYING THE RECIPE: 'Here's our friendship recipe! When we're not sure how to be a good friend, we can check our recipe. What ingredient does this situation need?'
