Instructions
Provide materials and encourage adding trees, sky, sun, animals to the group mural.
Educator tip
Use child dictation to add their words to the artwork.
Assessment
Observe and note: ability to follow two-step instructions, use of new vocabulary in context, early problem-solving strategies, and sustained shared thinking episodes. Assess against Development Matters age-band expectations. Watch for engagement, mark-making, and social participation.
