Instructions
Invite children to stomp, march, and freeze to a beat. Say, 'Now ROAR!' to engage.
Educator tip
Join the dance and give clear rhythm with a drum or clapping.

Observe and note: ability to follow two-step instructions, use of new vocabulary in context, early problem-solving strategies, and sustained shared thinking episodes. Assess against Development Matters age-band expectations. Observe rhythm response and body movement.
