Instructions
1. Give each child a 'Clown Performer' name tag to fill in.
2. Practise tracing letters in their name.
3. Write name independently.
4. Decorate name tag with circus stickers.
Educator tip
Provide dotted letters for tracing as needed.
Assessment
Observe and note: ability to follow two-step instructions, use of new vocabulary in context, early problem-solving strategies, and sustained shared thinking episodes. Assess against Development Matters age-band expectations. Monitor letter formation and name writing progress.
