SETTING GOALS TOGETHER: 'What would YOU like to get better at? Writing your name? Tying your shoes? Being kind? Let's choose a goal and make a plan!' Goals should be specific and achievable.
BREAKING DOWN GOALS: 'Your goal is to write your name. Let's break it down: first, write the E. Then the L. Then the E, N, A. We'll practise one letter at a time!'
TRACKING PROGRESS: 'Let's check your goal chart! You could write E and L last week. This week you can do E, L, E, N! Nearly there! You're making amazing progress!'
CELEBRATING ACHIEVEMENT: 'YOU DID IT! You can write your whole name! You set a goal and you achieved it through practice and determination! What's your next goal?'
