Instructions
SINGING EACH NAME: Sing a simple hello song that includes each baby's name: 'Hello Mia, hello Mia, hello Mia, we're glad you're here today!' Watch their face light up at their name.
KEEPING IT SHORT: For babies, group times should be 3-5 minutes maximum. Two or three songs, then free play. Don't force sitting: babies who crawl away have finished—that's fine.
MAKING IT INTERACTIVE: Wave at each baby as you sing their name. Encourage waving, clapping, bouncing. 'Wave to Theo! Hello, Theo!' Simple actions keep babies engaged.
BEING CONSISTENT: Sing the same hello song every day. Consistency builds anticipation and security. Babies will begin to show excitement when they hear the opening notes.
