READING GROWTH STORIES: Choose stories where characters struggle then succeed: 'The Little Engine That Could', 'Giraffes Can't Dance', 'Beautiful Oops'. Discuss: 'What happened when Giraffe kept trying?'
TEACHING 'YET': 'When you say I can't do it, add one magic word: YET. I can't do it YET means I'm still learning! Your brain is growing every time you practise!'
SHARING MISTAKES: 'I made a mistake today! And you know what? I learned from it. Mistakes are how our brains grow. They're not bad—they're brain food!'
CELEBRATING EFFORT: Praise effort over achievement: 'You tried SO hard on that puzzle! Even when it was tricky, you kept going. That effort is making your brain stronger!'
