Instructions
INTRODUCING EMPATHY GLASSES: 'These are special magic glasses! When you put them on, you can see how OTHER people feel. Let's try them!' Make it playful and engaging.
USING WITH SCENARIOS: 'Put on your empathy glasses. Elena is crying because someone took her toy. Through YOUR empathy glasses, how does Elena feel? What does SHE need right now?'
APPLYING IN REAL SITUATIONS: When conflicts arise: 'Can you put on your empathy glasses for a moment? Look at Leo's face. How is HE feeling right now? What does he need from you?'
BUILDING EMPATHY LANGUAGE: 'Empathy means understanding how someone else feels. When you use your empathy glasses, you're being empathetic. That's a wonderful quality to have!'
