- Dinosaur puppet or toy
- Small blanket or scarf
Instructions
Hide the dino under the scarf and say 'Where's the dino?' Then uncover and say 'Peek-a-dino!'

Pause and use excited voice tones to increase anticipation.

Observe and note: ability to follow two-step instructions, use of new vocabulary in context, early problem-solving strategies, and sustained shared thinking episodes. Assess against Development Matters age-band expectations. Observe anticipation, smiles, and vocalizations.
