Instructions

1. Show old photos of firefighters, doctors, etc.

2. Compare to modern photos.

3. Discuss: 'What's different? What's the same?'

4. Create a before/after timeline.

5. Predict: 'What might helpers use in the future?'

Assessment

Assess against Early Learning Goals (ELGs). Document evidence of 'expected' or 'exceeding' descriptors. Note: independent application of skills, ability to explain reasoning, and capacity to build on prior learning. Evaluate comparison skills, timeline sequencing, and prediction reasoning.
