Start with 'Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes', singing slowly and touching each body part clearly. Children copy your actions.
Play 'Simon Says' with body parts: 'Simon says touch your tummy! Simon says wiggle your fingers! Simon says stamp your feet!' Keep it fun, not competitive.
Introduce less familiar body parts gradually: 'Where are your elbows? Here they are! Can you bend your elbows? Bendy elbows!'
Use the mirror: 'Look in the mirror! Point to your chin. Now point to your eyebrows! Where are your eyebrows? Right above your eyes!'
