Educator tip
Ensure every child has something meaningful to showcase—help those who struggle to identify their own growth.
Assessment
Assess against Early Learning Goals (ELGs). Document evidence of 'expected' or 'exceeding' descriptors. Note: independent application of skills, ability to explain reasoning, and capacity to build on prior learning. Observe self-awareness of strengths, quality of showcase, and celebration of peers.
