Instructions
PAIRING CHILDREN: Pair children thoughtfully—confident with shy, experienced with new. 'You two are going to make biscuits together! You'll be brilliant cooking partners!'
MODELLING COOPERATION: Show what working together looks like: 'I'll hold the bowl while you stir. Then we'll swap. That's teamwork!' Narrate cooperative actions explicitly.
SUPPORTING TURN-TAKING: Guide sharing of equipment: 'Elena is stirring now. When she's done five stirs, it's your turn. Let's count together. One, two, three, four, five—your turn!'
MAKING IT ABOUT FRIENDSHIP: Frame the activity around friendship: 'These are friendship biscuits because we made them together! Shall we give one to a friend?'
