Instructions
INTRODUCING THE CONCEPT: 'Today, how do you feel inside? Are you sunny and bright? A bit cloudy? Maybe rainy? Or stormy? Put your name next to the weather that matches how you feel.'
ACCEPTING ALL WEATHERS: 'It's okay to be rainy today. We all have rainy days sometimes. I wonder what might help you feel a bit sunnier later?' Never dismiss any weather choice.
CHECKING THROUGHOUT THE DAY: 'You chose stormy this morning. How about now—has your weather changed? Sometimes our weather changes during the day. That's completely normal.'
CONNECTING WEATHER TO STRATEGIES: 'When we feel stormy, what helps? Dragon breathing? A cuddle? Going outside? Let's find something to help your storm pass.'
