CHOOSING A PROJECT: 'How can our class help our community? We could pick up litter in the park, make cards for lonely elderly people, or collect food for people who are hungry. What shall we do?'
EXPLAINING WHY: 'We're helping because not everyone has what they need. Some people feel lonely. Some people are hungry. We can make a difference! Even small acts of kindness help.'
INVOLVING EVERYONE: Give every child a meaningful role in the project. 'You're in charge of decorating the cards. You're writing messages. You're sorting the food donations. We ALL contribute!'
REFLECTING ON IMPACT: 'We collected 50 tins of food for the food bank! That will help feed families who are struggling. How does it feel to help others? We made a real difference!'
