Instructions
GUIDING THE SCAN: 'Lie down and close your eyes. Let's check in with our bodies. Start with your toes. Can you feel them? Wiggle them. Now relax them. Let them be soft.'
MOVING THROUGH THE BODY: 'Now your legs. Are they tight? Let them be heavy and floppy. Now your tummy—take a big breath in and let your tummy be soft. Now your shoulders—let them drop down.'
NOTICING TENSION: 'Where does your body feel tight? That's where you're holding your feelings. Breathe into that spot and imagine it melting like chocolate in the sun.'
ENDING GENTLY: 'Now your whole body is relaxed. Stay here for a moment. Feel how calm you are. When you're ready, slowly open your eyes and sit up gently.'
