Infants and toddlers thrive on repetition. Sing the same sun and moon songs daily so children become familiar with the words and motions over time.
Assessment
Observe and note: sustained engagement, sensory responses, early vocalisations, and attachment behaviours. Document using the Characteristics of Effective Learning framework (Playing and Exploring). Observe children's attention during singing, their attempts to mimic hand motions, and their emotional engagement with the music.
