Instructions

Assign groups different animal sounds. Conduct a 'jungle orchestra' of hoots, growls, and chirps.

Build layers—start with one group, add others gradually.

Assessment

Observe and note: ability to follow two-step instructions, use of new vocabulary in context, early problem-solving strategies, and sustained shared thinking episodes. Assess against Development Matters age-band expectations. Observe sound accuracy and following the conductor.
