• Silver glitter mixed into dough
• Glow-in-the-dark paint or powder (non-toxic)
• Round cookie cutters
• Rolling pins (child-safe)

Instructions

Offer a special sensory experience that connects the tactile joy of playdough with the wonder of the glowing moon.

Educator tip

If glow-in-the-dark materials are not available, add extra silver glitter for a shimmering effect that captures the moonlight concept.

Assessment

Note children's willingness to touch and manipulate the dough and their reactions when the lights are dimmed to reveal the glow.
