Instructions
Guide children to create jungle layers: dark forest floor, middle understory, bright canopy. Add animals at appropriate levels.
Educator tip
Discuss where different animals live—monkeys up high, jaguars on the ground.

Observe and note: ability to follow two-step instructions, use of new vocabulary in context, early problem-solving strategies, and sustained shared thinking episodes. Assess against Development Matters age-band expectations. Observe layering concept understanding and fine motor skills.
