Kinderbugs is a family owned and operated private school that has served the East Valley since 2008. With campuses located in Mesa and Gilbert, the school offers part day programs for children ranging from age two through six. The school atmosphere is designed to be warm and small, allowing young students to develop a positive relationship with learning without inhibition. The mission centers on the belief that the future of the world resides within the school walls, fostering a safe and beautiful environment where children can flourish during their first years of education.

The curriculum at Kinderbugs is defined by an accelerated and individualized approach to learning. Serving Twaddlers, Preschoolers, Pre-K, and Kindergarten Prep students, the academic program emphasizes literacy, math, spelling, and writing. Teachers utilize an individualized reading program where every child progresses at their own pace using resources like BOB Books and Open Court Books. Beyond traditional academics, the school focuses on hands on learning and the development of essential social skills. The teaching philosophy encourages curiosity while helping children master self control, focus, and motivation through structured classroom experiences.

Daily life at the school takes place in classrooms specifically designed to motivate and educate through diverse study options. Each room features a Learning Circle for group discussions, a Reading Station for bonding over stories, and an Activity Zone for play. The morning routine includes a welcome song, the Pledge of Allegiance, and Saxon monthly calendar activities to review the weather and dates. Students participate in a variety of engaging extracurricular activities including weekly cooking projects, hands on science experiments, and arts and crafts. Families can stay connected to the school day through a dedicated mobile app that provides easy access to classroom webcams.

This school is a distinctive fit for families seeking an accelerated yet nurturing start to their child's education in a private setting. Because Kinderbugs is a participant in the Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account program, parents of students in Kindergarten and up can often utilize state funds to support their tuition choice. The school is particularly well suited for parents who value small class sizes and a curriculum that balances rigorous reading and math goals with physical and emotional development. By combining traditional structure with creative play and teamwork, the school prepares children to transition confidently into their future grade school years.
