Huda Childcare is a preschool in Woodlands, Singapore, serving children from infant care through kindergarten. It presents itself as a trusted childcare centre with a nurturing and supportive atmosphere, and it places emphasis on character development, thematic learning and engaging teaching methods. The school describes its approach as one that supports both academic and personal growth, with personalised attention aimed at helping children build confidence and curiosity from an early age.
The curriculum is built around an Integrated Curriculum that brings together MOE’s Nurturing Early Learners 6 Learning Areas and ECDA’s Early Years Development Framework. Huda Childcare says this framework supports cognitive and language development alongside physical, social and emotional well-being, while also giving children a cultural and moral foundation. Its curriculum includes literacy, numeracy and character education through literature and universal Islamic values. Languages offered include English, Arabic and Bahasa Melayu, and the school also highlights Jolly Phonics, Bahasa Melayu or Malay as a Second Language, Arabic language studies and arts-based activities during core programme hours.
Daily life appears to be centred on active learning in a safe, supportive setting. The school offers infant care for children aged 2 to 17 months, playgroup, nursery and kindergarten. Its programme descriptions mention structured activities, free play, exploration, socialisation, creativity and curiosity. Huda Childcare also says it uses Taidii’s DiBear and DiiLight apps to share weekly updates on activity plans, lesson progress and objectives met, which suggests a strong focus on keeping parents informed and involved in their child’s day-to-day learning.
What makes Huda Childcare distinctive is the combination of holistic learning, Islamic values and close parent-teacher communication. The school says its teachers are carefully selected and trained in Early Childhood Care and Education as required by ECDA, and that it values strong relationships with parents. It may be a good fit for families looking for a childcare setting in Singapore that offers a nurturing environment, bilingual or multilingual exposure, and a curriculum that balances early academic skills with character formation and cultural grounding.
