United World Preschool is a preschool in Singapore, located at i12 Katong on East Coast Road. It serves children from 18 months to 6 years old. The school describes itself as a nurturing environment for young children, with a focus on developing emotional intelligence and curiosity. Its message is grounded in the idea that preschool matters deeply in the early years, and the atmosphere it aims to create is unhurried, intentional, and supportive of children’s growth across academic, emotional, social, and physical dimensions.

The curriculum brings together Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Inquiry-Based Learning in one programme, alongside a strong bilingual foundation. English is the academic core, and Mandarin is part of the daily language experience. The school says children write original stories, give presentations, perform in assemblies, and discuss big ideas. It also emphasizes character development, structured mindfulness, and child-led yoga as part of its approach. According to the school, language learning is not treated as a separate subject alone, but as something lived through daily use and practical expression.

Daily life at United World Preschool is described as active and carefully paced. The school says children take part in purposeful physical activity every day, regardless of Singapore’s weather, supported by expansive weatherproof spaces. It also provides freshly prepared nutritious meals on-site. The environment is designed to nurture every dimension of the child, and the school places value on teachers who really know each child and on close communication with families. The source also points to a community that feels like a second home, where warmth and familiarity matter.

What makes United World Preschool distinctive is its combination of three early childhood pedagogies, its bilingual English and Mandarin foundation, and its emphasis on emotional intelligence alongside learning. The school presents itself as a place for families who want curiosity, confidence, and connected learning, rather than subjects kept in separate silos. It may be a good fit for parents looking for a preschool that values inquiry, kindness, mindfulness, and a strong sense of belonging, while also preparing children for the next stage of schooling with practical language and presentation skills.
