Columbia Preschool is a full day childcare service for children aged 18 months to 6 years. The school has been selected by ECDA, the Early Childhood Development Agency, as a Partner Operator, and says this helps make its fees more affordable. Its programme is described as high quality, literacy-focused, and inquiry-based. The school’s stated core values are kindness, diligence, perseverance, empathy, and respect.

The source highlights a literacy-focused inquiry-based approach, but does not give further detail about curriculum structure, specific language offerings, or specialist subjects. Even so, the emphasis on literacy and inquiry suggests a learning environment that encourages children to explore, ask questions, and build early foundational skills in a guided setting. Families looking for a preschool with a clear focus on early literacy may find this approach appealing.

Daily life at Columbia Preschool is not described in detail in the source, although the school does share images of children and classroom activity, and invites families to see its activities on its Facebook page. The available information points to a preschool community that values care and consistency, with kindness and empathy among its core principles. Beyond that, the source does not provide specifics on facilities, outdoor space, clubs, or extracurricular programmes.

What makes Columbia Preschool distinctive in the source is the combination of ECDA Partner Operator status, a full day childcare model, and its literacy-focused inquiry-based programme. Its values also give a clear picture of the school culture it aims to foster. It may be a good fit for families seeking an affordable preschool option for children from 18 months to 6 years, especially those who value early literacy and a setting shaped by kindness, respect, and perseverance.
