Kindergarden Madridstraat is a kindergarten in Utrecht-West, at Madridstraat 3A in Utrecht, in the province of Utrecht in the Netherlands. It serves children from 0 to 4 years old. The school describes itself as a new, sustainable location near the Hoge Weide and Leidsche Rijn neighbourhoods, and says it was specially designed as a day-care centre for Kindergarden. The atmosphere is presented as open, warm, light and calm, which suggests a setting that aims to feel welcoming and restful for young children and their families.
The curriculum tag listed for the school is Montessori, and Dutch is the language noted on the source page. Beyond that, the source does not provide detailed information about specific learning themes, extra programmes or specialist subjects, so it is best understood as an early-years setting with a Montessori approach rather than a more subject-based school. For families looking for care and education in the earliest years, this points to a small child-centred environment focused on the day-to-day needs of babies, toddlers and preschoolers.
The source does not list detailed facilities, outdoor spaces or extracurricular activities, but it does emphasise the character of the building and the experience of visiting it. The school invites families to come and see the location for themselves and to be surprised by its open character, light appearance and sense of peace. That description suggests an environment designed to support young children in a calm way, with the new and sustainable building itself forming part of the experience. The published price band is € 13,44 per hour.
What makes Kindergarden Madridstraat distinctive in the source is its combination of being new, sustainable and purpose-built for Kindergarden, together with its location in Utrecht-West close to growing residential areas. It may be a good fit for families with very young children who value a calm atmosphere, a Montessori curriculum tag and Dutch-language care in a setting designed specifically for early years. Because the available information is limited, the school is best described as a warm, early-childhood environment rather than one with a long list of stated specialisms.
