International School of Querétaro is an international school in Santiago de Querétaro, Querétaro, Mexico, serving children and young people from Preschool through High School, from ages 2 to 18. The school describes itself as a multicultural learning community, and says it prepares students from Preschool to High School to become international citizens. Its atmosphere is presented as warm and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on convivencia, or healthy coexistence, within a community that includes more than 26 nationalities.

Academically, ISQ lists Spanish and English as its languages and identifies its approach as constructivist and humanist. The school began in 1999 with this pedagogical philosophy, and from 2001 it has been part of the UNESCO PEA Network, which the school says is its only such alliance. Its sections include Preschool, Elementary, Middle School, and High School, with High School noted as offering the IBDP. The school also presents itself as a bilingual institution in Querétaro and says it focuses on the formation of children and young people across all these stages.

Daily school life is shown through the school community resources and family participation pages, including a parents section for 2025 to 2026, a school calendar, and books and materials through Algebraix. The source also points to the school’s installations page, though it does not provide details about specific facilities. A series of community quotes in the source reflects a calm, supportive environment and mentions kindness, collaboration, and a warm community. This suggests a school life where families are connected to the school rhythm and where students move through a shared multilingual environment.

What makes ISQ distinctive, based on the source, is the combination of its multilingual setting, multicultural community, constructivist-humanist philosophy, and long-standing link to the UNESCO PEA Network. It also highlights a broad age range, from early childhood to the final years of school, all within one institution. Families looking for a bilingual school in Querétaro with an international outlook and a clearly multicultural environment may find it a fitting match, especially if they value continuity across the school years and a learning community that emphasizes convivencia and shared values.
