Alongside literacy and numeracy, the school highlights non-cognitive skills such as resilience, communication, and problem-solving. What makes HEI Schools Nagoya Sakae distinctive is the combination of Finnish early childhood education, research-based practice, and a bilingual Japanese-English setting in central Nagoya. It may suit families looking for a preschool that values play, individuality, and a broad view of development, rather than focusing only on academic results. Because the school describes itself as holistic and research-informed, it may be especially appealing to parents who want an international preschool experience grounded in a clear educational philosophy.
