The school describes itself as a safe, caring environment, and its philosophy is rooted in the belief that childhood is best nurtured in harmony with nature. It places a clear emphasis on building confidence, creativity, and a lifelong respect for the environment through connection with the natural world.

The learning approach draws on the Reggio Emilia framework, which the school describes as child-centred, with an emphasis on creativity and collaboration. Nature-Play Based Learning and sustainability are central themes in the curriculum, and the school says sustainability is woven into every experience, every routine, and every child who walks through the door. English is the language listed for the setting, and the approach appears to focus on play, outdoor exploration, and learning in close contact with nature rather than on a highly structured academic model.

Daily life at Little Learners includes a strong outdoor component. The school highlights its 650m2 outdoor areas, which include sand and water play areas and even chickens. This gives a clear picture of a setting where children spend time exploring, moving, and engaging with the natural environment as part of their day. The school also presents itself as privately owned and operated, and the tone of its public information suggests a close, child-focused community rather than a corporate one.

What makes Little Learners distinctive is the way it combines Reggio Emilia principles with nature-play and sustainability, all within a caring early childhood setting. It may appeal to families looking for a daycare where outdoor learning is valued and where environmental awareness is part of everyday life.
