Green Grass Nursery is a bilingual nursery in Dubai for children from one to five years old, with locations in Jumeirah and Al Manara. It describes itself as a place where language, wonder, and identity thrive together, and says its aim is to nurture each child’s curiosity and love of learning in a bilingual home away from home. The nursery presents a warm, family-like atmosphere rooted in language and love, with nurturing educators supporting children as they grow, make friends, and explore who they are and the world around them.
The curriculum is grounded in the British EYFS framework and is inspired by Reggio Emilia and Forest School. Green Grass Nursery says it has integrated Arabic from the early years using EYFS as a starting point, and it has embedded a bilingual inquiry approach into the daily programme. Children learn in Arabic and English, with bilingual immersion and inquiry-based learning forming the basis of the school’s approach. The nursery also places a special focus on Arabic, reflecting its belief that bilingualism can strengthen problem-solving skills, enrich cultural awareness, and support more effective communication.
Daily life at Green Grass Nursery includes learning in spacious outdoor classrooms, with the school describing its “classes with no walls” concept. Children learn in gardens, mud kitchens, workshops, and nature zones, which are all part of the nursery’s outdoor and nature play approach. The environment is described as eco-friendly, safe, and loving, designed to feel like a home away from home. The nursery also highlights strong partnerships with families and support for parents, presenting itself as a community hub where parents and the wider community work closely with the school around each child’s development.
What makes Green Grass Nursery distinctive is its long-standing identity as Dubai’s first fully bilingual nursery offering alternative Arabic and English learning, with more than a decade of dedication to early childhood education. It combines bilingual immersion, cultural connection, and hands-on learning within a boutique nursery setting. The school’s values include friendship, cooperation, thankfulness, compassion, respect, kindness, generosity, truthfulness, responsibility, acceptance, patience, and perseverance. It is a strong fit for families looking for a small, warm nursery where Arabic and English are both part of everyday learning, and where outdoor exploration, family partnership, and early bilingual development are central to the experience.
